Toowoomba: The Dark Side

Not for the faint of  heart this walk explores Toowoomba's 'Dark Secrets'. Often perceived as a quaint, quite regional city Toowoomba has experienced its fair share of Dark that has had far reaching consequences. Explore the site of our first Gaol and wonder how anyone ever survived. Learn of ghosts, grizzly murders and the brothel that operated across form the Court House. Toowoomba has its secrets, we unveil many of them.

This walk starts in Queens Park (Cnr Margaret and Lindsay Streets) and finishes at in Russell Street with a cold brew in one of the streets fine hotels.
