St Patrick's Cathedral has dominated the skyline for almost 140 years. It is a fine example of a Victorian Gothic Church and has been a used
continuously as a place of worship since its consecration on March 17 1889. The building has a myriad of stories to tell if you listen
carefully. Stories, not only of the building and precinct themselves, but also of the growth and development of Toowoomba and the Darling
Downs.
If you are a parishioner, interested observer, passionate local resident or simply have an inquisitive mind then this tour will not
disappoint.
So join Toowoomba Trails on a journey of exploration of St Patricks and its surrounding precinct.
