  •          Why did  the railway come to Toowoomba directly from Ipswich and not to Warwick
  •          Who was it that decided to make Queensland’s gauge 3ft 6 inches instead of the standard 4ft 8.5inches of Stephenson's standard gauge?
  •          Why did Governor Bowen miss the official opening
  •          Where is the second air raid shelter?

Explore some of SE Queenslands finest heritage buildings and generally  surround yourself in the railway that saved Queensland.

This walk starts at the Northern end of the Railway Goods Shed in Victoria Street and finishes with a coffee in Railway Street opposite the station itself.
